The FamilyLife Canada Marriage Mentoring initiative is an innovative conversational model of mentoring. Developed to galvanize and equip volunteer couples to invest in younger couples, it is an easy-to-use tool that can strengthen marriage, reduce divorce, and increase faith.
Most churches offer good marriage education for pre-married couples and good care for couples in crisis, but sometimes there isn't much marriage support in between. Marriage Mentoring fills that gap, helping to identify and resolve issues before relationships devolve into crisis.
This kit includes everything necessary to develop a Marriage Mentoring initiative in a local church or community: Online Video Training with a facilitators guide, 2 Marriage Mentoring Manuals, and 2 Mentoring Conversation Guides. It gives mentor couples the basic tools for conversational mentoring. It also provides spiritual and practical resources and a conversation guide that quickly and easily allows couples to begin mentoring.
